Bob Livingston is president and chief executive officer of Gregory Electric. He holds a PE license in South Carolina and Florida. He previously spent 12 years with South Carolina Electric and Gas, Columbia, South Carolina, most recently serving as manager of electric operations.

A graduate of Hampden Sydney College in Hampden Sydney, Virginia, Bob received a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry. He received a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in electrical engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology, a master of business administration from the University of South Carolina, and a master of strategic studies from the Army War College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania.

Bob currently serves as the Deputy Commanding Officer (DCO) of the 218th Enhanced Heavy Separate Brigade with the South Carolina National Guard.

Lisa serves Gregory Electric as vice president. She oversees day-to-day activities of Gregory’s Infrastructure Division and handles all corporate marketing. Infrastructure includes overhead and underground power distribution, outside and inside telecomm, street lighting and underground duct bank work. Lisa also oversees the Fort Lauderdale office, which specializes in telecommunications and power distributions projects.

With more than 30 years of experience, Mike Atkinson serves dual roles at Gregory Electric project manager and manager of the company's Florence, South Carolina, office.

Mike has extensive experience in all facets of electrical contracting. He completed an intensive, 22-week course in electrical theory and practical systems at Michelin Tire Company in Greenville, South Carolina. He has worked in a number of capacities at Gregory Electric since 1972, including journeyman, foreman and estimator. He was employed at Michelin Tire from 1980 until 1991, and with United Electric 1991 through 1992. Mike rejoined Gregory in 1992 and has served as project manager since 1995.

Steve has been with Gregory Electric since 1983, when he began as an apprentice. He received his journeyman's card in 1985, served as assistant service manager from 1986 to 1992, received LAN network training (1993) and served as service department manager from 1995 to 2004. Steve currently works on projects in the Commercial arena.

Prior to his tenure here, Steve served in the U.S. Navy as a crypto logic intercept operator, specializing in high frequency direction finding. He held a top-secret code work security clearance. He also has worked as a telephone system installer with Executone Telephone Systems.

Jerry has an extensive background in the industry, including studies in electrical engineering at Midlands Technical College, Columbia, South Carolina; Propulsion Engineering A&B School, United States Navy; and the Carolinas Construction Training Council.

He joined Gregory Electric in 1973 and has served as project manager since 1978. He has been an industrial electrical estimator and project manager for 28 years, a draftsman and designer for 24 years.

Mike has served Gregory Electric for the past 20 years in many capacities. He now manages the On-Call and Gregory Protect departments, and has had great success in building a testing department for Gregory. In his current roles, Mike provides preventive maintenance information for many large industrial customers throughout the state, as well as works with Gregory customers to solve their day-to-day service needs.

Jerry Dempsey, Project Manager, Aiken

Jerry joined Gregory Electric in 1980 and serves as project manager and manager of the Gregory Electric office in Aiken, South Carolina.

He studied maintenance supervision at Augusta Technical College in Augusta, Georgia, and has honed his skills in a number of capacities since that time, including: Electrician 1963-present; Superintendent with H.A. Sack Co. 1965-1967; Owner of Coastal Electric 1967-1971; Owner of Dempsey Supply Inc. 1971-1980; and Gregory Electric Company 1980-present.

With more than 37 years in the telecommunications industry, J.W. serves as project manager for South Carolina telephone and cable contracts.

He has received special training in a number of capacities, including fiber splicing and maintenance, copper splicing and maintenance, fault locating and repair, aerial cable placing and removal, underground cable placing and removal, contract administration, and digital loop carrier installation and maintenance. His specific work experience includes control, placement and removal.

Michael has worked in the electrical trade since 1979, and currently serves Gregory in the industrial and commercial markets of North Carolina as project manager for the Raleigh office. He manages projects start to finish, including estimating, installation, safety and quality.

Scott began his career as a line foreman with Gregory Electric in 1992 and became project manager in 1997. He manages the power division of Gregory Electric Company.

He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in legal studies from Louisiana State University. He has more than 20 years of utility line experience and has completed training in Overhead and Underground Distribution courses offered by South Carolina Electric and Gas. He has extensive experience in leading the efforts to restore power during natural disasters such as hurricanes, tornadoes or ice storms.
