Robert Livingston, President and
Chief Executive Officer
Bob Livingston is president and chief executive officer of Gregory Electric. He holds a PE license in South Carolina and Florida. He previously spent 12 years with South Carolina Electric and Gas, Columbia, South Carolina, most recently serving as manager of electric operations.
A graduate of Hampden Sydney College in Hampden Sydney, Virginia, Bob received a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry. He received a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in electrical engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology, a master of business administration from the University of South Carolina, and a master of strategic studies from the Army War College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania.
Bob currently serves as the Deputy Commanding Officer (DCO) of the 218th Enhanced Heavy Separate Brigade with the South Carolina National Guard.

Lisa Phillips, Vice President, Infrastructure
Lisa serves Gregory Electric as vice president. She oversees day-to-day activities of Gregory’s Infrastructure Division and handles all corporate marketing. Infrastructure includes overhead and underground power distribution, outside and inside telecomm, street lighting and underground duct bank work. Lisa also oversees the Fort Lauderdale office, which specializes in telecommunications and power distributions projects.
She joined Gregory in 1993 to assist with marketing efforts and the diversification of the company's operations. Since that time, Gregory has expanded into nine states and has added new business sectors including the utility and telecomm industries to its roster of services. Lisa was previously employed with South Carolina Electric and Gas in Distribution Operations for 12 years, most recently serving as manager of the Denmark district. She is a Clemson University graduate, with a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering.

Mike Atkinson, Project Manager, Florence
With more than 30 years of experience, Mike Atkinson serves dual roles at Gregory Electric project manager and manager of the company's Florence, South Carolina, office.
Mike has extensive experience in all facets of electrical contracting. He completed an intensive, 22-week course in electrical theory and practical systems at Michelin Tire Company in Greenville, South Carolina. He has worked in a number of capacities at Gregory Electric since 1972, including journeyman, foreman and estimator. He was employed at Michelin Tire from 1980 until 1991, and with United Electric 1991 through 1992. Mike rejoined Gregory in 1992 and has served as project manager since 1995.

Steve Baker, Senior Project Manager, Commercial
Steve has been with Gregory Electric since 1983, when he began as an apprentice. He received his journeyman's card in 1985, served as assistant service manager from 1986 to 1992, received LAN network training (1993) and served as service department manager from 1995 to 2004. Steve currently works on projects in the Commercial arena.
Prior to his tenure here, Steve served in the U.S. Navy as a crypto logic intercept operator, specializing in high frequency direction finding. He held a top-secret code work security clearance. He also has worked as a telephone system installer with Executone Telephone Systems.

Troy recently joined Gregory Electric to head up the new Industrial/Mechanical division. Troy has been a project manager since 1987 and brings over 29 years experience in the mechanical trades. He specializes in piping, instrumentation, boiler work, steelwork and rigging.

Mike Cheeks, Gregory OnCall/Protect
Mike has served Gregory Electric for the past 20 years in many capacities. He now manages the On-Call and Gregory Protect departments, and has had great success in building a testing department for Gregory. In his current roles, Mike provides preventive maintenance information for many large industrial customers throughout the state, as well as works with Gregory customers to solve their day-to-day service needs.
Mike graduated from Midlands Technical College with a degree in industrial electricity. He holds a City of Columbia Journeyman's Card, the OSHA 10-Hour Certification, and has been certified in Level One Infrared Thermography.

Charles E. Dunlap, Senior Project Manager, Fountains
The new Fountains Division of Gregory Electric is headed up by Charlie Dunlap. Charlie brings eight years of experience in fountain installations, design, hydraulic installations, and architectural projects. He holds a state license for swimming pools and fountains. He has been a member of many design build teams and his efforts are visible throughout Columbia and the surrounding areas.
Charlie is a graduate of the University of South Carolina, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Management. He is a welcome addition to the Gregory family and continues to add to the diversity of Gregory Electric.

Larry has 30 years of experience in the electrical field. He served 17 years as a lineman with SCE&G and 13 years as a foreman. Larry joined Gregory Electric as safety director nine years ago and has a diverse background in the electrical industry. He is qualified to oversee high and low voltage job sites and inspects jobs daily for safety and quality.
Larry is a graduate of Mid Carolina High School. He completed the SCE&G Apprentice Training, 10-Hour OSHA and 30-Hour OSHA classes. Glenn has been a part of the Gregory Electric team since 1972. He received PLC training in Columbia, South Carolina, and attended a number of project management seminars. Glenn specializes in all aspects of industrial construction from service work to the construction of entire, new buildings. He enjoys working with controls and assisting customers in relocating their equipment to facilities in the Southeast.
During his tenure at Gregory Electric, Glenn has served in a number of capacities. He joined the company as top helper and two years later, he was promoted to electrician (three years), foreman (three years), superintendent (two years) and project manager (20 years). He became senior project manager in 1999 and currently serves as vice president in the Industrial group. Glenn also manages the Spartanburg office.

Allen joined the Gregory Electric team in 1991 as a supervisor, bringing with him 12 years of electrical experience. For the past six years, he has served as a project manager for the Industrial Division. Allen has tremendous experience in upfits and new construction for power plants belonging to utility companies. Jack L. Royal, Vice President, Commercial
Jack serves Gregory Electric as Vice-President of our Commercial division in Columbia, as well as managing the Charleston and Raleigh offices. With more than 34 years of experience, he has served in virtually every capacity, including apprentice, journeyman, working foreman, superintendent and general superintendent. He also has worked in the office, including assistant project manager and project manager.

Michael Shelton, Project Manager, Raleigh

Bill has been with Gregory Electric for 15 years in the Summerville area. He works in the telecomm and commercial markets in the South Carolina Lowcountry and serves as Gregory’s Charleston Division safety coordinator.
