Safety

Safety first. Quality, a given.
At Gregory Electric, a safe work environment is not a goal. It’s a requirement. So we’ve put the proper protocols in place to make our workplaces as safe as possible.

Safety initiatives

It starts at the top, with a safety officer who is responsible for training, site inspections and policy enforcement. (He’s also our COO, so it’s pretty obvious how important safety initiatives are to our company.) In addition, we employ a safety director who performs daily site inspections. All supervisors meet quarterly for safety education meetings, and we hold weekly on-site safety meetings and daily toolbox discussions for all personnel. A safety committee governs all company actions, guided by an extensive safety manual. Even minor occurrences are investigated, reported to management and discussed through safety bulletins.

A commitment to quality

In today’s business world, quality is a given. So we constantly search for new and more meaningful ways to exceed our customers’ expectations. Some of this information comes from customer surveys we distribute at the completion of every job. The responses guide the way we do business, because we exist to meet the needs of our customers. Our goal, at the onset of every job, is to develop a long-term relationship that is based on mutual respect and trust — trust we know we have to earn.

Process feedback

Equally as important, we look for feedback from our own employees on our procedures and processes. These are the folks on the front lines, and by keeping the lines of communication open, we can learn from their experiences.
